what wil happen to the kernel when 2 operating systems are running on it?

what wil happen to the kernel when 2 operating systems are running on it?

I just wanna to know that what will happen to the kernel when 2 operating systems are installed it one pc?Can anybody tel me where can i find about it.I wanna to know every thing about it .please help me guys.
